We would like to thank everyone for their photo and video submissions to Faces of Evanston for 2011.  The number of photos entered this year increased by 50% due to the talents of the gifted individuals living in and visiting Evanston.  We thank everyone for their patience with the new website as we encountered problems with voting and uploading content. We realized some of the drawback but could not make changes as the contest was underway.  In the coming months a post will be featured  on the site for feedback in order to make the site more user friendly for next year.

The panel of judges will be meeting on August 25th to select the winners and honorable mentions.  A reception will be held at Noyes Cultural Arts Center on September 15 from 5pm-7pm with presentation of certificates and cash prizes.  The reception will also include appetizers, music, wine and a silent auction to celebrate the Faces of the Evanston community.  All are welcome.
